This series of works is an exploration of organic forms, movement and intuitive irregularities within the grid-like structure of the warp. Each tapestry is a one-off-piece, entirely woven by hand on a traditional floor loom by Carla Cabiddu, in Shrewsbury, UK.
“Working intuitively, I let each piece tell me where it wants to go. The result of this conversation between me and the loom is something that is often different from what I had originally planned. This makes each tapestry entirely unique, and often, unrepeatable”
