COMMISSIONS
A commissioned piece is a dialogue between your ideas and my weaving style and creative direction. It allows you to inject your inspiration into the work while giving me the opportunity to explore a new concept.
Depending on what you are looking for, some starting points for our initial discussion could be:
A reference to one or more of my past works.
Images or photographs that inspire you or feature a color scheme for guidance.
Images of the space the piece will sit in.
Some information about the desired sizing.
PRICING
Pricing varies depending on the level of detail, sizing, and design complexity. Please get in touch to discuss your specific requirements and receive a personalised quote.
TIMINGS
Tapestry weaving is a very slow craft, each piece is entirely woven by hand by me. Timings vary depending on the design and size. As a reference, small pieces can take up to 4 weeks to complete.
If you would like to commission a piece, these are the steps involved:
Fill in the commission form
In response to our discussion and depending on your requirements, I will produce and send some initial sketches
A chance to make any adjustments if needed, you approve the final design
A 50% deposit is then required
I start the making of your piece
The remaining 50% of the payment
Your piece is shipped to you
